Dr.Tobi Zauser

Dr. Tobi Zausner is a research psychologist and a clinical social worker licensed in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Illinois. She is also an award-winning visual artist with works in major museums and in private collections around the world. Dr. Zausner writes and lectures widely on psychology and human potential at academic conferences and charitable events. Dr. Zausner has taught at Saybrook University, Long Island University, The New School, and the C. G. Jung Foundation. She is on the Advisory Board for the Journal of Consciousness Exploration & Research and is an officer on the Board of A.C.T.S (Arts, Crafts, and Theater Safety), a non-profit organization investigating health hazards in the arts. In addition to multiple academic papers, her books are: The Creative Trance: Altered States of Consciousness and the Creative Process and When Walls Become Doorways: Creativity and the Transforming Illness. A native New Yorker and an avid reader and walker, Dr. Zausner wishes there were more trees, grass, and hills in New York City.
